I'm a sucker for buntings! They just make everything feel so much more festive and fun. You can get the above pictured Mother's Day Banner from Poppy Talk.
Because we are living away from our Mom's this year, I think it would be fun to write messages on the back of the assembled banner and mail it in a card for her to hang on her special day. It's kind of like we're there honoring her, right? Plus, she can hang it again next year (unlike those measly flowers, that well, you know...die.)
(Plus you can also download a simple, cute Mother's Day card while you're there.)

Let her sleep!
This Mother's Day let her sleep in!
Dad- you can get the above pictured door hanger from the always classy Twig & Thistle and then let the kids create the below pictured Eye Mask from Martha Stewart. Hold off on the breakfast in bed...she really just wants to sleep in!

Here is a link to a door hanger Twig & Thistle has done in the past. You could just cut off the 2009 part and it would still get the "Quiet Please, thank you" message across.
